NEW GRANTEES should first complete the inquiry form below before submitting a full application.
Grant applications may be submitted at any time during the year, but generally deadlines would be March 1, July 1, and October 1. The requesting organization will be notified of receipt of the application and whether it fits within the foundation’s giving interests. Normally, the Board will meet in April, August, and November. Organizations should not submit more than one application every twelve months.
After being invited to apply, organizations wishing to proceed with application for grant consideration should submit:
a. A two page letter from the CEO or board chairman containing (1) a short summary of the request (including amount); (2) a brief history of the organization; (3) the project need and impact; and (4) proposed process outcome measured
b. A copy of the latest IRS tax exempt determination letter
c. A copy of your latest audited financial statement
d. Complete and mail the ACH/Wire Transfer Authorization and Agreement form
e. An current organizational budget and a budget for the proposed project
f. The total amount of project gifts and pledges to date, with detail of individual gifts and pledges over $1,000, and projected sources to complete the project
g. A list of current board members.
